Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Policy Analyst to join our Pretoria team. In this role, you will analyze and develop policies that promote environmental sustainability while ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to influence policy decisions and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing policies for effectiveness and compliance.
• Work with various teams to integrate environmental considerations into business practices.
• Compile and present data findings to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Create educational materials to raise awareness about environmental issues.
• Engage with community organizations to promote environmental initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with environmental impact assessments: Experience with conducting EIAs and drafting reports.
