Job Description

We are in search of a Community Impact Strategist with a strong commitment to social work and community development. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that promote social change and foster community engagement in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Assess community needs through surveys and interviews to inform program development.
• Develop promotional materials to raise awareness of social programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with government officials to advocate for necessary changes in policy.
• Lead training sessions for staff and volunteers involved in community impact projects.
• Engage in fundraising efforts to support community initiatives.
• Utilize social media platforms to promote events and programs effectively.
• Present findings and outcomes to stakeholders and at community meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in social work or community impact roles

• Fundraising

• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Community Development Practitioner
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Beginner

• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages to serve diverse communities.
