Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee various construction projects in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing all phases of construction, from planning to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential as you'll be liaising with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction of projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure the labour force is adequately trained and compliant with safety regulations.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risk within project delivery.
• Track project metrics and KPIs to measure success.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project teams.
• Maintain records of project progress and communicate these to all relevant parties.
• Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Construction Management or related field
• Higher diploma in Project Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management

• Scheduling & Planning
• Health and Safety Regulations

Certifications

• Construction Health and Safety Certification
• NEBOSH Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
