We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Durban. The successful candidate will manage vendor relationships, improve supply chain efficiency, and coordinate with various departments to fulfill customer demands effectively. Responsibilities

• Monitor supply chain metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Review and adjust inventory control processes to minimize excess stock.
• Assess and negotiate contracts with freight carriers for cost-efficient transportation.
• Drive initiatives to integrate sustainability practices within the supply chain.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and establish improvement plans.
• Lead cross-departmental projects aimed at enhancing supply chain functionality.
• Analyze market trends and provide insights to refine supply chain strategy.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning and execution
