Extraction Worker

Job Description

We are actively seeking motivated Extraction Workers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, sorting, and operating screening equipment to ensure the highest quality of sand and aggregate materials. Your focus on safety and efficiency will help us maintain our position as a leader in the construction materials sector.

Responsibilities

• Screen and sort sand to meet quality control standards.
• Ensure all safety measures are implemented and followed.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and training.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools.
• Record operational data and assist in improving processes.
• Engage with the team to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Report any issues or defects immediately to the Quarry Manager.
• Assist with site cleanup and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in the construction or mining industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Screening equipment knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Maintenance Skills: Experience in mechanical maintenance is an asset.
• Experience in the mining sector: Prior experience in a mining role will be an advantage.
