Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pet Groomer to join our friendly team in Cape Town. Your primary responsibilities will include grooming dogs and cats, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best. You will engage with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences while providing a comfortable environment for the pets.

Responsibilities

• Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and other grooming services as required.
• Manage inventory of grooming products and inform management when supplies are low.
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure the safety of both pets and staff.
• Assist with training new staff members in grooming techniques and best practices.
• Stay updated on pet care trends and grooming techniques.
• Create a positive, friendly atmosphere in the workplace.

Requirements

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a pet care or grooming environment

• Pet Bathing
• Styling

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Certification in pet first aid and CPR.
• Knowledge of Pet Products: Familiarity with various grooming products and their uses.
