Job Description

We are in search of a Warehouse Supervisor based in Pretoria, who will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that logistics and operational processes run smoothly and efficiently, while also leading a dedicated team of warehouse staff. You will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards, optimizing inventory management, and fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily functioning of the warehouse and its staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Optimize warehouse layout and stock management systems.
• Coordinate the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Develop training programs for new staff members.
• Analyze team performance and implement strategies for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with the management team regarding warehouse needs.
• Prepare weekly reports on warehouse operations and performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Safety Regulations Compliance

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift operation experience: Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
