Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Construction Manager in Cape Town. You will be responsible for leading construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction phases from planning through completion.
• Enforce compliance with legality and safety regulations.
• Schedule and coordinate all construction processes.
• Assist in the preparation of project estimates.
• Implement strategies for efficient resource management.
• Review and approve work performed by subcontractors.
• Foster a positive work environment and enforce company policies.
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure project aligns with client visions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Construction Management is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in large scale construction projects

• BIM Software

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in Lean Construction: Understanding of lean construction principles to optimize processes.
• Experience with international projects: Background in managing projects outside South Africa is an added advantage.
