Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Construction Trades, you will oversee the work of pipe fitters and welders, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations. Your expertise will guide your team towards successful project execution, maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of construction teams.
  • Conduct quality control checks and inspections.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for material ordering.
  • Monitor project progress and report to the Project Manager.
  • Handle any issues or conflicts that arise on site.
  • Encourage a culture of safety and accountability in teams.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Trade certificate in pipefitting or welding
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in pipefitting or welding, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
