We are on the lookout for a Data Integration Specialist to join our Johannesburg team. This role involves integrating various data sources to create data structures that support analytics and reporting. Responsibilities

• Create data integration workflows that automate repetitive tasks.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure data needs are met and understood.
• Monitor data flow and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Engage in cross-departmental projects to enhance data accessibility.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure best practices in data handling.
• Regularly assess and optimize data processing systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree in Data Science or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in data warehousing and integration roles

Technical Skills

• SQL
• R or Python
• ETL Tools (e.g., Apache Nifi)
• Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Google Professional Data Engineer
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
