Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We seek a motivated Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations in Durban. You will oversee logistics, procurement, and inventory management, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with finance to ensure budget adherence and cost efficiencies.
• Implement risk management strategies within the supply chain.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff within the supply chain department.
• Prepare regular reports on supply chain metrics and present to senior management.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Postgraduate diploma in Supply Chain Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in senior supply chain roles is a must

Technical Skills

• SAP or similar ERP systems
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with international logistics: Understanding of international logistics regulations and processes.
