Relief Veterinarian

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Relief Veterinarian to temporarily fill in for our regular veterinarians. Your expertise in diagnosing and treating various conditions in animals will greatly benefit our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care during technician and veterinarian absence.
• Conduct routine and emergency examinations.
• Assist in surgical and emergency procedures when required.
• Educate pet owners about medical conditions and care strategies.
• Keep precise medical and vaccination records.
• Work with support staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in continuing professional development activities.
• Foster a caring and supportive environment for pets and owners.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Specialized training in emergency medicine is a plus.

Experience

• Experience with a diverse range of animals, including exotic pets.
