Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Durban-based team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems. This role is crucial in supporting our projects across diverse sectors, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects from conception through to completion.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and technologies for projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to source materials and services.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on electrical engineering projects.
• Implement best practices in project engineering and management.
• Stay current with industry developments and technological advances.
• Support procurement activities for electrical components.
• Document project outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering
