Job Description

As a Flight Surgeon, you will provide vital medical care to pilots and crew members, ensuring their well-being during flights and training exercises. You’ll conduct medical assessments, manage health risks, and respond to emergencies, ensuring the highest standards of aviation health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical examinations for aviation personnel to determine their fitness for duty.
  • Provide medical advice and recommendations on aerospace-specific health issues.
  • Manage and treat aeromedical emergencies.
  • Conduct research and contribute to studies related to aviation and aerospace medicine.
  • Stay updated with international aviation medical regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate on designing and implementing employee wellness programs.
  • Participate in incident investigations involving flight crew members.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on aeromedical topics.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical Degree from a recognized institution
  • Specialization in Aerospace or Aviation Medicine preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of medical experience, including aviation
Technical Skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
Soft Skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
Certifications
  • Advanced training in emergency medicine
Languages
  • English: Fluent
