Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Researcher to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The Medical Researcher will conduct various clinical studies, collect and analyze data, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve research outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize clinical trial designs.
• Focus on data integrity and accuracy throughout the research process.
• Participate in ethics committee meetings as required.
• Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders to highlight research outputs.
• Liaise with external partners for research collaborations.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical research to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• MD or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in clinical research roles

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis
• File Management Systems

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
• Clinical Research Associate Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Publication experience in peer-reviewed journals: Preferred experience in publishing research findings.
• Involvement in grant applications: Performance in successful research grant submissions is a plus.
