Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Researcher to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The Medical Researcher will conduct various clinical studies, collect and analyze data, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve research outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement clinical studies in accordance with protocols.
• Recruit and manage participants for research projects.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret research data using appropriate statistical methods.
• Prepare and present research findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate research initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of research activities and data.
• Contribute to the drafting of scientific papers and grant proposals.

Requirements

Education

• MD or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in clinical research roles

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis
• File Management Systems

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
• Clinical Research Associate Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in epidemiological studies: Knowledge of methods and practices in epidemiology is desirable.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance: Understanding of GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
