Job Description

Responsibilities

• Conduct dental examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Provide preventive healthcare, educating patients about oral hygiene.
• Perform dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and crowns.
• Create, review, and update treatment plans for patients.
• Maintain patient records and manage appointment schedules.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff.
• Manage patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Stay abreast of advancements in dental techniques and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent degree
• Specialisation in dentistry is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a clinical setting preferred

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

• Familiarity with advanced dental technologies: Experience with digital X-rays and CAD/CAM systems.
