We are looking for a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues and a genuine love for animals. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our furry clients and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations on arriving patients.
• Create treatment plans and discuss them with pet owners.
• Perform diagnostic tests including blood work and imaging.
• Educate clients about preventative care and behavioral issues.
• Supervise medical staff to ensure team collaboration.
• Handle emergency and critical cases promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Document patient history and treatment in medical records.
• Assist with training new veterinary staff.
• Monitor animal health progress post-treatment.
• Actively participate in community outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice
