Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software for the preparation of designs and plans.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with designs and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts.
• Evaluate and recommend contractors for project bids and tenders.
• Promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering or construction management

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software
• Geotechnical Engineering

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• ECSA Registered Professional Engineer
• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Prior Experience in Large Infrastructure Projects: Experience working on large-scale civil engineering projects, such as highways and bridges.
• Additional Languages: Ability to speak multiple languages will be advantageous.
