Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team to work on exciting infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be well-versed in design, project management, and construction practices. You will play a key role in developing safe and sustainable structures in line with environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize engineering software to create detailed project designs.
• Coordinate with government agencies for permits and approvals.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Compile and submit regular progress reports to management.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on structural projects

Technical Skills

• Civil Engineering Software (e.g., SAP2000)
• Geotechnical Engineering

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• LEED Certification
• Civil Engineering Professional Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational
