Job Description

We're looking for an Architectural Designer with a passion for sustainable design and a knack for innovation. In this role, you will produce detailed drawings, conduct site visits, and collaborate with various project teams in Cape Town. Your expertise in architectural software will help us exceed client expectations and maintain our commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Draft architectural sketches and detailed plans for approval.
• Engage in environmental analysis to support sustainable design efforts.
• Collaborate with drafters and technicians to ensure design accuracy.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve project efficiency.
• Attend meetings with clients to review and refine project scopes.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
• Engage in networking events to promote company services.
• Monitor design trends and implement them where applicable.
• Develop marketing materials to showcase architectural capabilities.
• Participate in community initiatives to enhance brand presence.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• Adobe Creative Suite

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Architectural Registration Examination (ARE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in a second language: Proficiency in Afrikaans or another local language is a plus.
