Job Description

As a Youth Worker in Cape Town, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals. Your role will involve facilitating workshops, mentoring youth, and collaborating with local schools and organizations. We are looking for someone passionate about social work and improving the well-being of our community's youth.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with diverse youth populations to promote inclusivity.
  • Provide mentorship and support tailored to individual youth needs.
  • Conduct assessments to identify youth challenges and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Train and supervise volunteers and interns in youth program activities.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work recommended
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community service or youth development
