The successful candidate will manage the transport fleet, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise daily transport activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic transport plans to support business objectives.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Evaluate transport performance and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting transport operational costs.
  • Communicate with clients to address transportation inquiries and issues.
  • Utilize transport management software to track and optimize logistics processes.
  • Foster a team-oriented work environment through effective leadership skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Further certifications in logistics are beneficial
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in a logistics or transport management role
