Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and organizing construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems.
• Review and approve construction plans and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates and timelines for project completion.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that all engineering practices adhere to quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Liaise with municipal authorities for project approvals.
• Compile and analyze data for ongoing projects.
• Assist in resolving any engineering-related issues on-site.
• Foster a culture of safety and innovation within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering or related fields
