Job Description

A Video Equipment Technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating video production equipment to ensure high-quality audiovisual output. You will troubleshoot technical issues, consult with clients on equipment usage, and ensure all video equipment is in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and manage video production equipment to capture high-quality footage.
• Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment before, during, and after shoots.
• Work with production teams to assist in pre-production planning.
• Ensure all video documentation is archived correctly for future access.
• Research and recommend new audiovisual technologies and techniques.
• Facilitate training sessions for new technicians on video equipment.
• Collaborate closely with the post-production team.
• Monitor video quality and workflow to enhance production efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in audiovisual production.
• Enforce health and safety protocols on set.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production or a related field

Experience

• Experience in live event production and video streaming is highly desirable
