Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Auditor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of auditing principles and will play a vital role in carrying out audits, evaluating financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will collaborate closely with a variety of clients, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute meticulous audit processes for various clients.
• Draft and deliver insightful audit report findings to stakeholders.
• Advise clients on enhancements to financial reporting practices.
• Conduct interviews and discussions to gather supporting information.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate potential areas for improvement in client's financial operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of auditing experience in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment
• Data Analysis Tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Client Management

Certifications

• ACC Certified Chartered Accountant
• ISO Quality Auditor Certification is a plus

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
• English: Fluent
