Power Brake Operator

Job Description

The Power Brake Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of power brake machines. This role requires a keen focus on meeting production targets while ensuring product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of power brake machines to form metal sheets as per production requirements.
• Document any deviations from production standards and report them to supervisors.
• Perform all necessary quality control checks and report any defects.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production improvements and safety practices.
• Assist with material handling and inventory control as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Technical diploma or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Power brake machine operation
• Quality control procedures

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified in Health & Safety standards (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in the automotive industry: Experience working with automotive components is highly regarded.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting: Skills to diagnose and resolve minor mechanical issues.
