Software Tester

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our East London team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify bugs and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test documentation, including test plans and cases.
• Execute test scenarios and analyze results to gauge software performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployments.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior QA staff.
• Contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback from end users.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Experience

• 5+ years in software testing with a strong focus on automation

Technical Skills

• Selenium WebDriver
• API Testing

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
• Agile Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with performance testing tools: Experience using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Exposure to DevOps practices: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing.
