Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Durban team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective testing strategies.
• Monitor and report testing progress to stakeholders.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with end-users.
• Evaluate software performance and reliability.
• Continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
• Mentor junior QA team members as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• A Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA roles, preferably in software development environments

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing Tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter)
• API Testing

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Experience with different phases of SDLC to better understand testing at each stage.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools: Experience with CI/CD practices to streamline the deployment process.
