Job Description

We are looking for an Auto Transmission Specialist to join our workshop in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automatic transmissions with strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and electrical systems. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are operating smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automatic transmissions.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle issues.
• Test drive vehicles post-repair to ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software effectively.
• Order and manage inventory for parts and materials.
• Train junior staff in transmission repair techniques.
• Implement best practices for workshop efficiency.
• Prepare reports on maintenance tasks completed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary automotive training preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in automatic transmissions repair and maintenance

Languages
