We are seeking a talented Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing rockets and spacecraft, conducting research to enhance performance and safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced aerospace technologies and contribute to groundbreaking projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop propulsion systems and conduct performance analysis.
• Engage in feasibility studies for upcoming space missions.
• Supervise testing and implementation phases of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to resolve complex challenges.
• Maintain project documentation, quality assurance records, and compliance checks.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in designs.
• Implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
• Champion safety protocols and uphold high engineering standards.
• Evaluate components and materials for the development of aerospace vehicles.
• Contribute to technical reports and presentations for diverse audiences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or applicable fields
