Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose pets' health concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Perform surgical interventions when necessary.
  • Manage patient records and documentation of treatments.
  • Educate clients on animal health issues and preventive care.
  • Stay abreast of new veterinary technologies and treatments.
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians for complex cases.
  • Engage in community education and animal welfare programs.
  • Conduct post-operative assessments for surgical patients.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM from an accredited veterinary college
  • Specialization in small animal surgery is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in general veterinary practice
