Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work with individuals of all ages to help them achieve maximum independence in their daily living and work skills. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through interviews, observations, and tests.
• Design customized treatment programs addressing patient goals.
• Deliver therapy services in a variety of settings, including home and community.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Engage in research activities to contribute to the field of occupational therapy.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for patient recovery.
• Prepare reports and documentation for insurance and regulatory purposes.
• Advocate for the occupational therapy profession within the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Relevant certifications in Occupational Therapy are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in occupational therapy
