Join our Pretoria office as a Cybersecurity Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing security measures, carrying out security audits, and staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends to safeguard company data. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for protecting digital landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Manage security incidents and escalate when necessary.
• Coordinate with law enforcement for cybersecurity violations.
• Ensure effective firewall and data encryption measures are implemented.
• Research and analyze security breaches to find weaknesses.
• Evaluate third-party security solutions and vendors.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for employees.
• Report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer on security matters.
• Support compliance audits by gathering necessary documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is highly preferred
• CIA or CISM certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on incident response
