Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Port Elizabeth, you will be at the forefront of our technical operations, providing essential support to our team. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, assisting with system upgrades, and collaborating with various departments to ensure IT needs are met. Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on IT systems.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and configuration.
  • Manage inventory of hardware resources and provide recommendations for upgrades.
  • Provide training and support to users on new technologies.
  • Maintain a user-friendly IT service portal for tracking requests.
  • Participate in projects for system improvements and upgrades.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support roles
