Job Description

As a Pharmacist in Durban, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. This involves managing medication therapies, providing patient education, and working closely with doctors and healthcare professionals to promote the best health practices.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions.
  • Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication use and potential side effects.
  • Maintain patient records securely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy.
  • Educate patients on chronic disease management and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Conduct medication reviews to ensure safety and efficacy.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a pharmacy setting
