Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on patient care, ensuring high standards in assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate patient care within the clinic.
• Collaborate with doctors and specialists to ensure continuous care.
• Review laboratory and diagnostic results to inform treatment decisions.
• Provide emergency care as needed and manage acute conditions.
• Facilitate community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in primary care or a similar setting

Technical Skills

• Clinical assessment
• Knowledge of chronic disease management

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Palliative Care certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Bilingual abilities: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
