Job Description

As a Retail Store Manager, you will be at the forefront of our Johannesburg store operations. Your role is to drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and lead a dynamic team. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that our team delivers top-notch service and meets all sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in achieving sales goals through motivation and training.
  • Assist in recruitment and hiring of new staff members.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff development.
  • Ensure store compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
  • Review and update store policies as needed.
  • Foster a positive work environment to improve employee morale.
  • Manage product launches and seasonal promotions.
  • Collaborate with marketing for promotional events and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12)
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in retail management with proven success
