CNC Machining Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating CNC machines and a solid understanding of machining processes and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines, calibrate tools, and execute machining tasks.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and adjust processes when necessary.
• Work with engineers to optimize designs for manufacturability.
• Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
• Train new operators on CNC machinery and safety protocols.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements for CNC operations.
• Assist in the development of new machining programs.
• Work towards achieving production targets and deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Manufacturing or Machinery Engineering

Experience

• Experience with CNC lathes and milling machines is an asset

Languages

• English: Fluent
