Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing preventive care, and performing routine check-ups in a supportive environment. Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' medical conditions and establish treatment plans.
  • Manage patient cases with varying degrees of complexity.
  • Engage in health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
  • Provide guidance for mental health support and referrals.
  • Convene with multidisciplinary teams for case management.
  • Aid in medical training and mentoring for junior staff.
  • Participate in auditing and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Document patient interactions and continue education regarding policies.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent degree
  • Specialist qualification is a plus
Experience
  • 3-5 years of significant experience as a GP in a clinical setting
