Spring Coverer

Job Description

The Spring Coverer will be crucial in the production team, responsible for covering and decorating springs used in various products such as furniture, mattresses, and automotive seats. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and sew fabric to fit furniture pieces.
• Attach fabric to springs and foam padding.
• Ensure that the finished product is smooth and free of wrinkles or tears.
• Collaborate with the upholstery team to ensure high-quality standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot sewing machinery.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production schedules and challenges.
• Document production processes and report any issues.
• Assist with quality control inspections.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in upholstery or furniture manufacturing is highly desirable

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or textile environment
