Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of medication management and support in providing excellent customer service. This role will involve assisting in the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Ensure adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Assist patients with inquiries regarding their medications.
• Support pharmacist in conducting medication reviews.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy Assistant Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred
