Form Grader

Job Description

The Form Grader will be accountable for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data by reviewing and grading various types of forms and documents. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and will actively contribute to improving the grading process.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate student assessments according to set criteria.
• Collaborate with other graders to maintain fairness and accuracy.
• Conduct regular reviews of grading processes to identify improvement areas.
• Assist in the development of grading rubrics and guidelines.
• Deliver training sessions to new graders on best practices.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss grading results and challenges.
• Contribute to the creation of assessment-related reports.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills.
• Utilize software tools for efficient data management.
• Facilitate communication between educators and the assessment team.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in educational assessment or grading

Technical Skills

• Google Suite
• Data analysis tools

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Training or certification in quality assurance: Relevant training is beneficial for maintaining high grading standards.
• Experience with educational software: Prior experience with educational assessment software is advantageous.
