Job Description

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves designing, developing, and overseeing the manufacturing processes of various mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical foundation and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on new materials and technologies to enhance designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Evaluate and enhance existing products for better performance.
• Engage with clients to define project details and requirements.
• Participate in safety assessments and risk analysis.
• Present design proposals and project updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional accreditation in engineering would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical design role
