We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a solid understanding of cyber threats, tools, and techniques. You will be responsible for implementing security measures and addressing vulnerabilities to protect our clients' information.

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies.
• Manage and monitor security systems and protocols.
• Assist in forensic investigations following security breaches.
• Provide risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security solutions.
• Maintain documentation of security policies and procedures.
• Regularly test security systems and conduct penetration tests.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

Technical Skills

• Security Auditing
• Compliance Standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS)

Certifications

• CISM
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SIEM tools: Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management tools.
• Knowledge of advanced persistent threats (APTs): Understanding of APTs and methods of detection and response.
