Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Tax Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and advising on tax compliance and planning, ensuring that all clients meet their tax obligations efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an exceptional understanding of South African tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice during transactions to minimize tax liabilities.
• Document all advisory work for compliance and audit trails.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate tax matters.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts from a tax perspective.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in taxation-related roles preferred

Technical Skills

• Understanding of South African Tax Laws
• Report Preparation

Certifications

• Professional Tax Association Membership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
