Claims Agent

Job Description

We are looking for a Claims Agent to join our team, where you will assess and process insurance claims from clients with a keen attention to detail. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate claim evaluations, working closely with clients and various stakeholders to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Process claims in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.
• Collaborate with different departments to facilitate claim resolutions.
• Assess documents submitted with claims for completeness and compliance.
• Handle escalated claims that require complex decision-making.
• Report on claims trends and statistics to management.
• Assist clients with completing necessary paperwork for claims.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.
• Conduct follow-ups with clients and service providers.
• Provide feedback on process improvements in claims management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• A degree or qualification in Insurance or related field is a plus

Experience

• Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous
