Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability and security. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cloud services and a passion for automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud resources and services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Work with DevOps teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide guidance on cloud best practices and governance.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation.
• Engage in capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
• Support application migrations to cloud environments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Higher diploma in cloud computing is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in cloud-based environments

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes
• Ansible

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent
