Job Description

We are looking for a General Practitioner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality medical care and contributing to the health of our community. You will be involved in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions in a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze patient symptoms to provide appropriate care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address patient needs.
• Build trusting relationships with patients to enhance care delivery.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure effective treatment.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and health management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Lead health promotion activities in the community.
• Review and interpret diagnostic tests and results.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent qualification
• Higher education in a specialized medical field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 4 years' experience as a practising General Practitioner

Certifications

• Board Certification in Family Medicine
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
