We're seeking a proactive and experienced Taxicab Dispatcher to manage our fleet operations. This role is crucial for coordinating taxi services, overseeing driver performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage the flow of taxi requests, ensuring efficient distribution among available drivers.
Utilize GPS navigation and dispatch systems to optimize routing and reduce waiting times.
Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of their taxi requests.
Evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance service delivery.
Compile daily performance reports and address inefficiencies immediately.
Requirements
Education
Matric certificate or equivalent
Relevant training in transportation management is preferred
Experience
Experience in customer service or call center environments is advantageous.
