IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to help us enhance our IT services. This role requires you to address incidents, provide solutions, and support users across various levels of technical capabilities. Your expertise will guide our users while maintaining a proactive attitude towards problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues raised by users.
• Provide support for IT hardware and software installations.
• Perform regular network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and assist with procurement.
• Implement best practices for data backup and recovery.
• Aid in training staff on new technologies and software.
• Attend to urgent technical issues as they arise.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs.
• Document solutions for common user problems to enhance knowledge base.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• IT certifications (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA) are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role
